Showcase Rules & General Information

Teams should report to the assigned field at least 30 minutes before game time.

The home team will be determined by a coin-flip prior to the game conducted by an umpire or tournament official.

Home team will be the official scorebook. All teams should report the game scores to the Main Tournament Dest.

Teams listed first get the 1st base dugout: However, teams with back to back games on the same field will not be required to change dugouts.

The 8 runs "mercy" rule will be in effect for ALL games.

Time limit: No new inning after 1:35 drop dead at 1:45
Game time slots are: 2 hours

Free substitutions by agreement of opposing teams in each game but there must be only 9 batting-order places and 8 other players must bat between any individual player's at-bats.
** If the game is tied at the end of 7 inn, one inning of the International Tiebreaker will be used IF time is still remaining. This will continue until time expires. If the game is still tied at the end of the tiebreaker inning, the game is over immediately and the score reverts to the last complete inning unless the home team is at bat and ahead in the score.

The tournament WILL provide water & ice in the dugouts. We ask all teams to please clean dugout areas after your games.
** Each team manager is responsible for maintaining contact with a tournament official!! It is the teams coaches responsibility to know any and all revised schedules... you can get me on my cell phone 732-673-6825. I will also have other cell numbers available as we get closer to the game dates.
College coaches can also call me anytime for updates.
